I think these Franklin and Marshall shorts would look great with your plaid sneakers. They're from ASOS.com, which is a great site and I suppose it's in the U.S too otherwise Urban Outfitters do them.
I got these lighter colored ones today(above right) Im gonna team them up with this lil' Pinguin gingham shirt(wherever that darn pic turns up......)

Thanks for this link. It'll def. get some use. I saw a few F&M pieces on there I liked. The men's section at my local Urban Outfitters sucks. The next nearest location in Washington is slightly better.
If ever you run across good things, let me know. You don't dress like any 40+ y/o I know. :)
As for our boy...I'm wondering what he's getting up in. lol. I hope he doesn't get offended by our talking about him.
